MY FRIEND, GRAY

this is my outside feline friend, gray. she isn't allowed to come in and play with me, nor am i allowed to go out and play with her. but we have exchanged meows at the back door a few times. my human seems to like her better than most of the outside felines. i have to admit, she is rather a pretty miss.

AN ATTEMPT AT FELINE BLOGGING

hello everyone out there in blogland..........my human is asleep right now, so i decided to sneak onto her computer and check out this blogging she talks about. of course, it is difficult to type with long claws, but the only alternative is to have the human wrestle me into a headlock and hold me down with one arm while she clips my claws with one of those torture devices. and believe me, if i have anything to say about it, that ain't gonna happen.

so did everyone out there have a good Christmas??? i hope it was better than mine. know what the human got ME for Christmas???? a dish scrub brush.........yep, you heard me right. she thinks because i always try to eat the toilet scrub brush when the bathroom closet door is opened that i would want one of those for my own...........well, um, i did. that dang human knows me better than i want to admit. hey, the bristles clean my teeth and gums when i am chewing on it. i do wish she had cut off the handle, though. it is hard to get a good grip on the bristles and move it from place to place with that heavy handle attached. oh well, i guess when you are as short as i am, you can't always get your way.

the weather has been so weird around here that my human doesn't know what to do to make me comfy. i like sleeping on my heating pad on the end of the bed. but to conserve something called electricity, the human cut off the pad when the weather warmed up a few days ago. after sitting and staring at her for some time, then jumping up on the bed and covering my entire face with my paw, she got the message that my nose was cold, as was the rest of me, and she turned the dang thing back on.

another thing that my human did the other day was tell me "no" when i cutely begged for some kitty treats. usually if i stand up on my hind legs (a real trick for me, due to my plump figure) and flail my front paws up in the air, my human laughs, says how cute i am, and gives me several treats. but this time, she said "no". i haven't heard that word since i tried to scratch the new loveseat out in the foyer. how dare she!! of course, i just kept doing the meer cat pop up and she just HAD to give me a treat. i really know where her buttons are and when to push them, lol.

the human was home sick today, so i let her snuggle up next to me on the bed most of the day. when she finally got out of bed, i slid over to take up more space. it was so nice to spread out some.

guess i better see how to post this blog thingy. so goodnight to all my felines out there......(and the other critters too).
